Even though life on the outside looks mostly the same — you feel completely different inside. These are some of the ways it shows up.
You discovered your partner's pornography use, sex addiction, or secret sexual behavior — and your world shifted in an instant.
You're carrying this mostly alone — you can't explain it to friends, and your family doesn't fully understand what you're going through.
You're trying to decide whether to stay or leave, but you can't think clearly enough to figure that out. The pressure to decide makes everything worse.
You feel like you're losing grip on who you were before this happened. Your instincts feel unreliable. You second-guess everything.
You keep asking yourself, "what does this say about me"—and underneath that a shame that was never yours to carry in the first place.
You think you're getting stable, then something triggers you back to square one. The cycle feels endless without the right support.
When betrayal goes unaddressed,
it doesn't stay still. It seeps into everything.
The hypervigilance, intrusive thoughts, waves of anger followed by grief — these don't resolve on their own. Your nervous system stays stuck in the moment of discovery, even when life moves on around you.
Whether to stay or leave doesn't get clearer with time alone. Without support, the pressure builds while clarity doesn't come — and the weight of that unanswered question compounds everything else.
The longer this sits without real help, the harder it gets to remember what feeling safe actually felt like. The version of yourself you knew before this — grounded, trusting your instincts — gets harder to reach.
You don't have to keep managing this alone.
I work with people at exactly this point, not after they've figured things out, but right in the middle of it. My approach starts with one priority: stabilizing you first. Before the decisions, before figuring out the relationship—your nervous system needs to feel safe again.
From there, we work through what happened at your pace, using well-researched approaches designed exactly for the emotional wounding betrayal creates. Down the road, when things have stabilized and both partners want to rebuild, the work expands to relationship repair.
I'm a licensed therapist and a Certified Professional Life Coach based in Mesa, Arizona. I provide therapy in person and online across Arizona, and coaching to clients anywhere in the world. Since 2017, I've specialized in one of the most specific and underserved wounds in the field: betrayal trauma.
I hold the CSAT credential — Certified Sex Addiction Therapist — earned by a few thousand therapists in the country. It means I've been specifically trained in the dynamics of out-of-control sexual behavior, the impact on partners and families, and what actual recovery looks like for everyone involved. I'm also EMDR-Certified, Brainspotting trained, ERCEM-certified, certified in clinical hypnotherapy, and trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy — because healing from betrayal requires more than talk therapy alone. I'm also APSATS-trained and currently completing my certification as a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist-Candidate (CCPS-C) — specialized training focused specifically on helping partners heal from betrayal.
What I can tell you is this: I've worked with enough betrayed partners to know the pain is real, it's profound, and it doesn't resolve on its own. You're not overreacting. You're not weak. If you're looking for deeper healing, real recovery, and genuine connection on the other side of this — I want to help you get there.
"If you are looking for deeper healing, recovery, and connection, I want to help you achieve it."
Most therapists who treat relationship issues are generalists. This work isn't.
My practice is built almost entirely around betrayal — partners of sex addicts, individuals healing from infidelity, couples trying to repair something that felt unrepairable. When you walk in, I already understand the landscape. You don't have to explain it from scratch.
I offer what most individual practices don't: group work. Groups for betrayed partners, couples groups, post-traumatic growth groups. Some of the deepest healing happens when you realize you are not the only person who has ever felt this way.
EMDR, Brainspotting, the Prodependence model, Accelerated Resolution Therapy — approaches designed specifically for how betrayal trauma forms and lives in the body. Not adapted from general therapy; built for this work.
